I do alot of chilled rides. I once got a program which works pretty well. Mon, Tue, Wed and Fri do active recovery. Very easy and chilled, for about 50min a day. Thu do about 2hours of intervals and Sat and Sun do rides about 2-4 hours. That way you can get out about 14hours a week I think... Don't underestimate the importance of active recovery!

Dude you do waayyy to much intensity...This is more of a volume vs intensity problem.Assuming your anaerobic threshold is about 90%, which is the average, For 10 to 15% of your 10 hours your riding anaerobic. For another 20 to 25% you are doing tempo. Give yourself a rest on the intensity and try do more longer hours. I am not saying go do LSD's everyday blindy, when you near your goal or race what you want to peak. Than increase on itensity. Schedule regular recovery rides and a recovery week after every 2 to 3 weeks of hard training. Recovery is essential to improve, otherwise your fitness would slowly but surely get worse and may even force you to be of the bike PERMANENTLY.

i for one find it hard to ride 1hr a day for 3 days straight in the week. i would rather do 2 2hr hard sessions with a day rest in between. i like to train as if i am doing a 'race'

then come weekend, do a 3-4hr ride
