the cheapest way to save weight is to get kcnc quick releases, get a sram hollowpin chain. this will cost about 1200.00 and will save you about 100-150g.

next you can get a lighter saddle. i've got a selle italia slr with carbon railings. iy weighs only 120g and its very comfi. mavic crossmax slr is the strongest wheelset you get that weighs 1520g. the rockshox sid world cup is light and durable. the newest hope discbrakes is lighter than the juicy ultimates.

Thanks for the advice Mamba, im getting kcnc seat clamp, qr's, bar ends, jockeys and stem, I have the post and bar- very nice and light ! I have an slr xc @180g so thats light, ZTR 355 wheels with DT 240s hubs and Bontrages Jones XR team tubeless ready tyres @ 485g each.  Will get some lighter rotors as well.

So really I can only replace the fork and grouppo and brakes, so from your comments I'll keep the fox fork and maybe go to xtr deraillers later, dont want to go XO or gripshift. Will keep the chain and cassete as is, they are still new and xtr is too expensive to replace IMO.  Might then get some lighter cranks and brakes- maybe mono's but the new blue juicy ultimates look super sweet as well.

Choices, choices.... Ermm
