Advice on good MTB saddle

Looking for a decent MTB seat that will not hurt my butt so much.I currently have a Giant Pro gel seat on my MTB.  After about 50km+ races i can hardly sit down anymore and have to stand most of the race thereafter.

Need advice Urgently!!!!!!

Alas you don't get a "One size fits all" kind of saddle. What works for one may not work for the other. That said I use the Sella Italia C2 Gel (with cut away), which has been a very good saddle to me, but it did take a couple rides to set in.

 

Then again it may by my FS that makes the seat less of an issue for me.

Test out a SDG Bel Air. Reasonably priced & very comfy for most people.

Fizik Gobi. Comfortable from the first day. Has worked perfectly everytime, never a saddle sore or even a serious chafe through many multiday rides, mud, rain, snow. No brainer.

if your butt does not like a SDG Bel-Air then it will not fit anything. That thing is like a big comfy couch.
