Merida Matts TFS 700-D/V

I know someone who is selling one of each - the 700-D is a 16" and the 700-V is an 18".  I am 1.76m tall - how do I know which one fits me better?

 

I would really like the 700-D, but if I have to get the 700-V, will I be able to fit disc brakes to it at a later stage?

 

And finally - is R3500 a reasonable price for a 2007 bike?

Ride them both and see. I ride an 18" Merida hardtail and I am 1.83m tall, and it fits me nicely. Its your in-seam that matters more than your height. I'm pretty sure it will be possible to fit discs, just check the hubs and frames have the correct mounts.

Did you get one of them If not could you please give me the details of the seller. I would be intrested in the 16 or the 18 regards

Sorry, don't have details - the bikes were on bidorbuy and by the time I turned around they were gone!
