You are not camparing apples with apples. The TCR is more like the Tarmac and the Roubaix is more like the Defy. TCR/Tarmac have more race like geometry and the Roubaix/Defy are more relaxed for old guys like me with bad backs and poor flexibility.

 

So first decide what kind of ride you require and then make your decision.

those pieces of snot they have to build into the Spaz frames puts me off. Look for the one that bot the least amount of carbon weave showing.

Thank you for all the info

Have decide to go for the Giant, the price between the bikes is almost the same, so that was not the deciding factor . Most of the bikes I have ridden are Giants and never had a bad experience with them.  In terms of specifications they are also very similar.

So at the end I like to buy what I know and ( not saying any thing against Specialized ) and will buy the Giant.
