Eugene Posted March 20, 2009 Share My Specialized also came with the RS10 wheels, but the rear rim started to crack at the point where the spoke nipples join the wheel (after 300kms of riding). Shimano (Cool Heat Agencies) replaced the wheel within a week. They replaced it with an RS20, which is supposedly a slightly better wheel, but has a completely different colour scheme.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> My bike now has 2 different wheels, which bugged me tremendously. Shimano were indifferent to my problem and basically told me to accept as is. Ignoring the cracked rim, I would say that the Mavic and the RS10 wheel are pretty much the same in terms of quality.
