Ok, then we'll meet another time.

Enjoy your riding & remember ride hard!!!

WW, how about you invite S2L for your Saturday ride ?

Then Sunday's ride to Heidelberg will be a recovery ride for S2L LOL

I'll be out there again next Saturday doing the short loop with the faster group.

Look out for the loon on the Peejou. I also wear Panda Kit and being tall' date=' it's kinda difficult to miss me.

Who knows, maybe we organise our own route for next Saturday as well if the Kid managed to survive the Heidelberg Loop.

Sorry for the ignorance S2L - you mentioned a 47 km loop - is this the Lido loop you thinking of??

Cos man - that loop is to me just suicidal - I cant believe cyclists still brave it with all those overloaded, speeding trucks.

When we go out there aren't many trucks, I done the loop last Sat & Sun (while S2L was in bed) and I think there was one truck.

I'll be there on Saturday but I think this week I'm going to do the long loop, you welcome to come with.

Thanks, I shall maybe take you up on that sometime - I live in Bedford view so its not too far away, I often used to ride there but now I think its just plain silly and not a case of "if" but "when", just before Argus I was nearly killed by a speeding truck loosing its load of river stones en route, I cant recall how many times trucks have blown me off the road and driven so close I could feel the paint finish.

However, I have hung up my bike for a few weeks and am concentrating on some running distance as I do the two Oceans (56kms) this month.

Porky, I have a solution for you.

There is another hubber Joe Low that lives in Bedfordview and he rides from Bedford to Alberton, then does the long loop and rides back to Bedford, so you can ride with him.

The only problem you going to have is to stay on your bike, cause Joe Low is a quite a character.

Alternatively you could run to Alberton (with your bike on your back) then ride with us and then run back to Bedford, it's called cross trainng Thumbs%20Up

Ah, a dude form the hood up to no good.

Just follow that link I posted on page one and you can see what we cooking up for our weekend rides.

If there is no special ride, then the bunch leave Xumbugs (Corner Kliprivier Drive and Swartkoppies) every Saturday and Sunday morning.

Come and join us. Just remember to intrduce yourself when you do. Believe it or not, I'm the "sane" one.

MTB. Joe is faulty, seriously.

To be sure though, he is a cool character. Very good company on a ride. Just something wrong with the circuitry to do the sort of distances he does.

When I grow up, I wanna be like Joe Low.

Hey, Hobbit club Member, take a gander over here. This will explain what we doing Friday.

Bring those polished cattle of yours down to Xumbugs at 06H50 to 06H55 on Friday morning. You can meet some of the gang and some new members to be inititated and be introduced to our new world of pain.

For the rest of the weekend, I have a suspicion I am in need of a rest ride on Saturday so will be at Xumbugs again at 7. Sunday, will prob'ly go for another ride and Monday, I think I might be in ICU for a long rest period.

Like I told you, check out our thread and you can get up to speed on whassssup.

Edit:

Dude from the hood, just follow the last few page.Promise, you dont have to read all 100 odd of them, but if you keep your eye on the thread, you'll see if we have any special busses to ride on the weekend.

So, get out of your "'Kassie" on Friday and come into a new world of pain (en leiding.) We have some serious fun.LOL

That race up the steps is good for you.
