Im busy buying Mavic Cosmic Carbones but would like to have oppinions and experiences about these wheels?

I heard they crack around the nipples

doug there were a few sets that were rebuilt by some crackpot and overtensioned them to the extent that nipples were breaking and on de-tensioning it showed that the rim had cracked but so far i have only heard of three people that it happened to!!
