SID 80 ==> 100mm upgrade possible?

Do you know if it's possible to upgrade a 2009 80mm SID Race to 100mm

by getting longer stanchions or is the 100mm a completely different

fork?

Most probably, yes, you will need to change the spacers. Don't know cost.

The short answer is yes. Rockshox work off a system of travel spacers. You re arrange the spacers inside your fork depending on how much travel you want.

 

 

 

Its not that hard a job to do but if you don't feel you're up to it then let you'r LBS take care of it for you.

Cost varies from LBS to LBS, probably 200 odd bucks.

Nope no new stanchions. Just lug the fork down to you LBS and ask them to increase the travel by 20 mm up to 100.
