Maybe it is old news to some, but I have found a guy selling those nylon bushing replacements on ebay. Just search for "mavic freehub". He has replacements for most mavic wheelsets. I have been looking for something like this for a few months now, and did not want to purchase a new freehub.

Johan, I bought a "twin" pack for $27, which qualifies for free shipping. A single bushing is priced at $16 + $12 shipping, so it works out cheaper to buy 2 than 1! I needed 2 anyway as I have 2 sets of Crossland wheels. He sells up to a "6-pack".

Interesting is that he also sells "oversized" bushings for when the freehub is really worn out badly.

I ordered last Monday, so hopefully will receive it sometime next week. Johan, if you are interested I can bring the lot to you for fitment, then you can have a good look at it?

Thanks, lets see when next week they arrive. Thursday/Friday I'm in Cape Town, but I'd like to have a look at this. I've had several students open their hubs during class, only to discover destroyed bushings. Thing is, if I gtell them that the little piece of plastic costs R150 before I've even put a little bit on top, they'll slaughter me. I suppose they'll be back once they've got the price for the alternative? Did you price it from Mavic?

So many of these American companies are very aware of the OEM replacement costs and come in at just a little below. By the time we've imported it, added 14% plus markup, it's not worth it.
