I have never seen these covers before....... sure the cranks are not scratched by you washing them with Sunlight Liquid......mmmmmmm???????

Some guys here in Angola keep the packing plastic on their black "sit up and pray" bicycles. You can always wrap your whole bike in bubble wrap or cling wrap....... viola ........ no more scratches!!!!!!!

How about this: http://www.invisiblepatterns.com/showcase.php

Veturesheild as used by cars, they do Motorbikes for us. I'm sure I can get them to laser cut some pieces for bicycles.

If we put together a list of areas that you would like covered then we can get pattern made up for each bike. They cut them bike specific, so would be a work in progress getting a database drawn up. But this stuff rocks. check the link for a demo.

I might even get them to do my road and MTB as a test project!

Why not buy from crankskins. Shipping can't be too much since package will probably fit in a regular envelope.

was my next step if nobody has locally.

I'm using VPS at the moment, works perfectly. It's a protection film that they stick on cars to prevent stonechips and scratches. Go to your local motor dealership and ask them who the agent is in your area. Cost me R50, and took 30 minutes
