training ride out in the cradle

anyone keen on joining me for some training ride during the weeks around the cradle, i normally do anything from 50 to 90. I usually leave at 7.30 and i am back by 10.30 latest.

 

I am kind of strong, 2.40h at 94.7 and 2 epics on my legs, 2008 and 2009

I would love to join you I am starting my training now for the capepioneer stage race. From where do you start and on what days of the week because I will join just after I recovery from my cold.

We're usually there (Muldersdrift) at around 6am for a lap around the Cradle and then back via HP to Bergbron area - we hit 1 degree C this am, not too bad with the 'right' gear!

 

Traffic volumes are due to increase SOON - let's hope they put in some cycling lanes! My fear is that wider roads will tempt some nutters to drive/race even faster!!

hi flemish lion, you are absolutely ride about traffic, it is definitely on the increase although i've heard they will be doing a cycling lane, let's pray for that otherwise between development and the cradle city you are referring too we will be forced to cycle in botswana!

 

where do you start your ride from? I normally start from Valverde (the hotel along beyers naude just before the bridge) as that is where i work and live.
