Yang is there enough cyclists to open a club in Moz?

We are a small band of brothers. I'm not a member of Clab, but must say that what I like about the club is that you are bound to bump into the Leader at most races, and of course he usually ends up on the podium. Talk about leading by example.Thumbs%20Up

Wanna fit in huh...

I was a member of one of the big 2.  It;s more about the sponsors than about the riders...

I don't want to be one of the crowd...  Use it, don't use it...

Won't be worth anything to diss any clubs, but when corporate sponsors are involved, it's all about getting bodies in the kit.

Lets just say I opted out and went back to basics.  A couple of mates, pooled resources and we licence ourselves, get our own kit how and when we want and make our own rules.

Our kit is not any more expensive than the clubs.

Less is more I say...

Initially I also wanted to join one of the big two here in Jhb, however ended up joining a smaller club. I'm no wannabe racing snake, and can join club rides only occasionally, and have to say that I actually prefer the smaller club. There is no big corporate agenda (Not that I'm saying that the other two well sponsored clubs do have), and it is all about cycling and nothing more.

Join a big club... or go for a  smaller (and more comfortable) club. Just remember there are more than two choices!

I joined Club 100 simply because the club rides are near my house. People are friendly, rides well organized so i have no complaints.
