Guest Agteros Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 I do a structure running programme. Cycle when I have time (every second weekend). Do not participate in road running events, So I run to cycle?
Guest Agteros Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Do you need to train for 100km cycle races? For 100km races training is overrated! Did the 94.7 on 350km of bike 'acccustomization' ...
Slave Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Do you need to train for 100km cycle races? Are you one of those "naturals" that don't have to train? I be one of those who have to train for any distance on a bike. Not so lucky that I have talent. It's all work.
Mad Dog Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I ride for fun ( 2 hours a day) Then two weeks before a race I start resting !! No time to train !
Gravity Sux Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Do you need to train for 100km cycle races? MTB or road? I wouldnt take on 100km MTB without training. Although you may finish it is going to be a long day.
pastapouch Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 Road, unless you want to go for time and a win. If not, you can get away with a little bike accustomization. mtb, TRAIN!!!!
