straatvark Posted June 11, 2009 Share FOX Racing Shox FLOAT R with Brain Technology. The missus's Specialized 'Brain' started to leak oil while transported (boxed by myself in a cycling box as one would for a flight) in the container. The leak continued after the bike was assembled and hanged in the store room. It now stopped - probably empty I assume that the oil is from the 'Brain', because the Fox "Float R" is air based shock. I will go to the dealers here, but did anyone else experienced this? If yes, did you serviced the 'Brain' or replaced it? ps, here some Fox service videos (I call it sideshows ) http://www.foxracingshox.com/fox_tech_center/service_videos.htmstraatvark2009-06-11 10:22:

straatvark Posted June 12, 2009 Share now this is sad GBU: You cant get new one, it is taken off, send to the UK and serviced in a pressure tank. It would cost E300! I'm out of words.... will have to think on this one. Another reason to stick to my GT hardtail
cycleq Posted June 12, 2009 Share Try Omnico, even ask Anton at Summit. They should be able to help.
