Carbon road frames

I'm keen to kick my road cycling up a notch and would like to trade in my Alu frame for a carbon one to save some weight. Obviously I know I'll have to fork out a few bucks for the frame but I'm not sure of which frame to get or what kind of price range to look at. I'm a firm believer that you shouldn't waste money on something that's not gonna last so I am looking for a quality middle of the range frame. Anybody got some advice for me?

Depending on your budget................ you buy what you can afford... Plastic frames come with a type of stiff nosed attitude............

You can get the Solex frames for R8000 and the Cannondale Super6 for 4 times that.

Shop around there are some bargains floating on the hub at the moment. Be sharp and look around.

And good luck

It depends what you want to improve. If you want to improve your racing performance, money spent on a coach, dietitian and perhaps a power meter could work.

Carbon frames are nice, I won't argue with that, but won't make you any faster compared to an aluminium frame.
