bash guard....is that necessary?

very nice' date=' i got the gold and black thing going too
[/quote']

BB disappoints me smiley36.gif this comment should belong to him. Think they come standard like that though on the double option.

Nice bikey T. Where did it go though after Greenside this morning? Didn't see you....

Sorry mon ami! But bashguard vs chainwheel protector ....... lets see:-

Bashguard - prevent damage to chainwheels while taking on extreme cross country and other such 'crazy' things as T is apt to do

Chainwheel protector - this device on the other hand is to prevent the rider (yourself in this case) from getting chainwheel tattoo's or other damage to the body from the chainwheels while stumbling through technical sections

You see the difference now LOL. Having said that I have it from an undisclosed reliable (OK not sure how reliable as it's DR) source that your technical skills have in fact probably surpassed mine and your 'final' sprint has also become rather 'explosive' Embarrassed

Not my shop although with the amount of money I've spent there in the last couple of years I'm surprised I haven't been offered shares. LOL

I was actually considering getting a Mary bar for my SS, so will make the call when I pick up my fork.

  • 2 weeks later...

Have made some final adjustments.

Replaced the stock Avid 160mm rotors with Alligator TiNi 180mm rotors

Kenda Nevegals have been replaced by Hutchinson Pythons (tubeless)

Replaced the 22 chainring with a 26.

Weighed the bike tonight - 10.90kg's
