Think about it, if a tow bar can't take a 60kg weight of three bikes then you wouldn't be able to even tow a Venter trailer.

The ideal loading for a towbar might be 50kg, but this is more to preserve stability whist driving. Any more and the front wheels start getting light.

It is perfectly safe to tow a 3000kg trailer (if the car is rated for it) and imagine what sort of weight gets transfered onto the tow ball when going over a speed bump, or simply driving on any national road.

The trailer might weigh 3tons, but what is the downwards pressure on the tow ball? Not all 3000kg pushes down on the tow ball all the time, which 3xbikes and the carrier will do - depending on the weight of the 3 bike (MTB?)
