Also finished at the back of the pack and it was very very very long days in the saddle, the Epic demands respect, you can only go as fast as the weakest partner can go and it tests you in more ways than just fitness if you dont have good partnership or understanding you wont finnish as a team. Similar exp to Tankman on stage 5 , came in 9:40 and we were stressed about making cutoff that day.

Hi Found VW car key on the trail this morning, the last section before the boom gate that opens on the bend by the cable car. Let me know if its yours.

Is Kleinplaas close to the Start, how did you get back after the event, not sure of the distance back from the finish

See there are shuttles available, to take you back from the finish to your accomodation, has anyone used these shuttles before?

Hey A buddy of mine last his sunglasses yesterday morning ( Thursday 3 Oct 2013) on the single tracks going up from Rhodes Gates. If anyone sees them laying around on the sides of the trails etc, please let me know, I will describe the glasses etc to prove that its his. Thanks

Really sad state of affairs.

My 10 year old rides a Strike bike ( Made by Raliegh) Alu frame and Shimano parts he ride Tokai trails no issues the younger 8 year old has a Titan also great bike and no issues riding the terain at Tokai, the bigger one has more gears as his bike has the triple crank and the Titan only has the single crank. The younger one struggles on some of the climbs , runs out of gears. Strike 24inch costed about 1,500-1,600 2 years back, the Titan costed around 1,700 about a year or so back. Titan is a 21 inch
