Wannabe Posted February 28, 2010 Posted February 28, 2010 Geno and myself were the only two people who did the Argus route, starting at the VA Gym next to the Greenpoint Stadium. We had a nice relaxed ride, even mingling with the Bay City Fun Ride riders. Wind was quite strong all the way to top of Smitswinkel. (at times it felt like almost 2009 Argus strong) Had to work hard and dig deep up to that point. Legs was tired after doing a fast 115km training ride yesterday, and it took me a while to get up Chappies and Suikerbossie. Once over Suikerbossie it was downhill all the way to end. Lots of other cyclist training on route. Did 114km for the day, legs are tired, but I'm happy. Thanks Geno, for pulling me the last stretch home.
