Cycling alone, I would try and avoid Kayamandie.

You can always do Bottelary and then go up past Devonvalley Golf Estate and through the Valley. Very scenic with a nice climb included.

But alone, I would suggest Polkadraai to Stellies and back.

Thanks Wannabe. I guess I will go Polkadraai for now, and check out the Devonvalley hill climb road. Need to do a few rides going that way to change it up a little.

Thursday 26 December. Who will be interested in doing a recce of the new 99er route?

No racing, just a steady speed ride to burn of the Xmas lunch / dinner.

Sounds like a good idea. I'm not planning on doing the 99er this year, but the route will make for a great training ride. What time are you thinking? And from where?

I'm also thinking of joining you Franschoek ride, Dale. Might peel off after Hels or something.

We don't reach Helz, Hayseed.

Mostly rollers on the course.

Come roll with us.

Start at D'Ville Mugg & Bean. 06h00 too late? (some people might have had a late dinner the previous eve)

Pace not too hectic, 25km/h avg will be pushing it. Look at doing the course in about 4hrs. Coffee / brekkie can be enjoyed at M&B afterwards.
