The 1st training guide if given in Watts, the second (for the same session) in HR

 

So my question is, isn't the HR data usable as a guide, compared alongside the Watts?

 

Once the HR and Watts stop tallying up, HR climbing but Watts slowly reducing, that the workout is a wasted of effort (over reach), that slowly peddling home, beginning recover, is the correct choice?

PPWTF, sorry to hijack - but do you have something similar in terms of a training program that is not dependant upon a power meter? (i do have a HR monitor tho')
