Internal cable routing

The front one starts under the top tube

The rear one comes out on top of the top tube

Both slightly on the left

Seat stays are beautifully tapered from thin at the top, wider in middle and thin at the bottom

Chain stays equally graceful, oval and tapered front to back

The only thing that is not elegant is the braze on frond derailleur hanger

Is there anybody out there?  :)

Other than the Reynolds decal, everything else points to early 80s.

1 set of bottle cage jobs, suggests before 84/85

cable guides under BB suggest later than 78/79

Front Derailleur braze on suggest later than 78/80

Sloping fork crown (if original fork) suggests later than 81/82

Internal cable housing suggests post 80

As to the ID, I have no idea, almost certainly Italian. The unusual seat post retaining mech should provide a good clue. I'll do some searching and let you know if I come up with anything.

The reason I'm looking at the lugs is that the seat stays are brazed directly onto the lug, there aren't any lug processes to take them.

Can't find any matching sloping fork crown lugs.

Can't find any matching brake bridge lugs either.

My guess is it's an artisan builder, who used Cinelli lugs, but produced few frames and disappeared.

It's probably worth posting your pics to one of the international forums and asking. You may just come up with something.

Thanks HeyYou

Yes, it sure looks like Cinelli lugs, but nothing else anywhere says anything Cinelli, so I think you may well be right. Which forums do you recommend I try?
