Hey JRussell

Ill put a picture of my bike up as soon as I take one. It is the same frame as that bike which the guy was trying to sell, the Crit. But mine has intense on it. With Manitou Sherman. It was Hulk green, but resprayed it black.

I am in the market for a new bike though, just waiting for the right one.

Hey Nick.

There is no criteria as such. This year their were 5 nationals.

Jonkershoek

George

PMB

Mankele

Klapperkop

The Cost was R140.00 per race meeting (if I remember correctly) which in my opinion is a bit of a bargain. Practice starts on Friday at about 1pm, Saturday from about 9 and Sunday from about 9. The racing starts at around 10. They set you off at 1min intervals so don't enter elites unless you are *** fast. The divisions as far as I know are as follows.

Fun Men

Juniors (Under 18)

Ladies

Sub Vets (30-39)

Vets (40 and up)

Elites (The fast guys)

Don't be intimidated by doing the races. Everyone is really friendly and their are chicken runs around all the big things. Go and race yourself. My usual goal is to finish inside a minute from the winner.

it as they always say: you only know yourself when matched against others. Trackside learning is for everyone, even the pros, especially when doing track walks to check for racing lines etc smiley2.gif
