Serendipity Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Team Supercars (Pieter and Hein Lategan) won in a new record time of just about 9 hours. As someone who also rode most of race (I walked some ) I think that is an incredible time. Ishen Stopforth and Peter Stopforth won the Mixed team category, placing I think 7th overall, and finishing under 10 hours.Serendipity2009-08-16 10:49:45

DaLoCo Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 The winning time was 8:55 By Supercars team. I was helping at Checkpoint 7. A lot of tired but determined people came past me. I loved the last group, we had to wait almost 2 hrs for them. They made it with 1 hr to spare after giving up twice in years before.....almost a comrades type finish. Well done to all the riders
