Lost City Race

For all those people driving to Sun City for the race on Saturday be very

carefull on the N4.  The Chrome Lorries move over to the left of the yellow line to allow you to pass and when you are next to them they push you into oncoming traffic.  Happened to a friend this morning who uses this road on a regular basis.

Don't be too scared, I ride that road once a week and over the past 2+ years that has only happened to me once, but never came close to be in too much danager (wasn't a Chrome Carrier truck either).

 

Pretty sure this is not a concious act by the truck drivers, the Chrome Carrier guys generally are very well behaved, but with the distances they cover they may day dream a bit and wonder from yellow lane to normal lane.

 

That said the N4 as straight as it is does have a lot of fatalities. Think people just get bored and day dream, plus want to over take in frustration.
