Agreed, we both only started MTBiking really recently. Never ridden road either. Of course it's gonna take some time to be able to handle the technical stuff. Small dropoff or not, I'm sure we've all fallen even on level, smooth tracks (even Azonic?) before.

Definitely gonna frame the series, something to show the kids, also chicks dig hardcore dudes (as long as he gets the tooth repaired).

How does a person to wipe on such a small dropoff?

Not supposed to ride any dropoff with locked elbows.

Sorry' date=' oh god of dropoffs. We are not worthy. [/quote']

You know Az (pardon the pun), it is easier than it looks! Why don't you give it a bash , will you? Please?

Azonic does have a point though.  So take the good out of it.

The lesson here...

Elbows UP (like a MX Rider), relax and be supple.  That way you absorb the drops much better.  AND KEEP YOUR WEIGHT BACK DUDE.

Big up for him getting back on the pony though.

At the last MTB race I did there were branches lying across these narrow little tracks used by wild animals in the forest, and these dips in the path and tons of mud and long downhills full of rocks, slippery grass.... sheeesh- these MTB dudes are crazy man- not an inch of tShockedOuchDeadaaaaar for miiiiiiiiiiles around- just dirtdirtdirtdirt. And mud and blood. It was the most fun I've had on a bike for a long time.

Sorry about your mate's face plant- not nice- he's just gotta wear the scars for a while like medals.
