it's not a extra 400g' date=' nomal hub weight is about 200-250g on the back wheel and the SL Hub is what, 400-450g?? so it's just 200g, it's the weight of two standard tubes. But I understand, I've always tried to save weight on the bike no matter how little it might seem to others, it gives you a mental edge I guess.

I need to sacrifice a 303 tubbie for a Pro+ Zipp alu team issue rim - surely more than 200g...

 

 

 

So in case of a puncture I can beg for a tube etc. and complete the race - one advantage!!
