I recently did the tubeless conversion kit for my mountain bike. Last Friday i cut my back wheel on a rock. It is a small cut just less than 1cm. The sealant didn't seal the tire, so 'n used a plug. The plug sealed the small cut allowing me to get home from my training ride. At home the tire got flat, so the plug didn't do its job 100%. I am now using a inner tube just to keep on training etc. Shops told me the tire that got the cut cannot be used anymore. Like every cyclist know, tires are expensive! I am thinking of putting a patch inside the tire. What is the best method on sealing/ closing the cut, so that I can put new sealant in and continue my tubeless without any leaks and not have to buy a new tire?
