levett Posted September 7, 2009 Share I have what they call a 'large volume' foot - not that long, but broad with a very high arch - hence most shoes (particularly cycling) are both too narrow and too 'tight' across the top (leading to numbness). I've tried Shimano, Olympic, Nike, Scott and Specialized and have only found the Specialized to be really comfortable. The Nike are OK for an hour or 2 (and they are better if I cycle to work, since they look more like trainers) but, for me, it has to be Specialized. I'm afraid it's a bit of trial and error (mostly error) - everyones feet are differenc, and walking up and down in the shop, will not tell you whether the shoes will be comfortable clamped to the bike for several hours.levett2009-09-07 04:30:45 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Thug Posted September 7, 2009 Share You don't say whether its for road or off-road. Road - I find the Sidi to be a great looking shoe but very narrow.
