I can't seem to get my pc to pick up the IR dongle and the watch also don't pic it up.

 

Any idea on where to start.

This happens alot and when it does to me I put the IR dongle in another portal and it seems to work fine.

same here, now my watch doesnt pick up my speed sensor. so tired of things not working.

 

any advice, i am new to this watch,dont have a manuel.

Maybe the speed sensors battery is flat or the magnet is not working. Sometimes they "dud".

 

 

 

What I suggest is spin the wheel and see on the sensor if the red/orange light flashes everytime the magnet passes the sensor. If not the the battery is pap or the magnet is poked.

 

 

 

If it does then maybe the gap between the watch and the sensor is to great and needs to be shortend.

Tried a new usb port and still not connecting.What softwear did you use for IR dongle?

MOst of the times when I download, it starts to download, then just fail at various percentages before completion. I sometimes have to do it five or six times, and this normally happens when you have the least amount of patience or time available.

So what is the best way to download then if IR is so unrelaible.?

These dongles are a PITA, but great when they work. Try rebooting your PC with the dongle already attached. Sometimes mine does that and then works fine on rebooting, however I get a blue screen when removing the dongle so have to switch off before doing so
