DEEP SECTION WHEEL INFO PLS!

Now iv been looking around at all the different deep section wheels but DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY INFO ON WHICH WHEELS ARE THE BEST

AERO : WEIGHT ETC.

 

I have seen that one test with quite a few different wheels where the zipp 808s came out miles ahead. but can anybody translate those power differences into time?

 

I know this is quite a scientific thread but im sure other roadies would also be interested.

It's one of those where each manufacturer will publish the data that makes their wheels appear to be better than the rest...

 

Here's a link to Hed where they compare a couple of brands, showing the drag at certain angles of yaw (the lower the drag, the faster the wheels):

The best wheel tests are those from Rouesartisanales.com and Tour magazine.

Looks like there is something broken with their home page, though.

 

Both these are independant from manufacturers. In short, Zipp wheels have the best arerodynamics. Lightweights have got the best stiffness to mass ratio.
