Steer will be one and one-eight of an inch. Your rookyness is talking about stanchions. No need to worry there. Capricorn: Seriously, go with RS or Fox. They are both brilliant forks and you'll ALWAYS have back-up and spares available.

 

If Marzoc agents went down they might not get picked up again or, like in DT's case, get picked up by some small fry who's running a Mickey Mouse show.

 

2010 Boxxer is a much better fork than '09.

Thanks Crow..i was worried there! so my 19.5" frame can only take a 1'1/8" steerer tube correct? And when someone talks about castings they are refering to stanchions??

castings is the lower part of the fork

My Marzocchi Bomber All Mountain II on the MTB Tandem has no V.brake bosses. However the other Bomber I have at home has V-brake bosses. Just a word of warning. DO NOT REMOVE THE BOSSES..... the hold the shock in place. Marzocchi does have blind plugs that takes the place of the bosses. I removed the bosses from the shock and ruined the seals and bushes.
