Howsit hubbers

I need your help with choosing a new set of pedals, I am looking for a pedal that is specially made for triathlons, does any company manufacture tri specific pedals?? If not what would you suggest? I have always been a fan of LOOK but I feel like a change, thinking of going for the Dura-Ace pedals?? they not tri specific but they light with a nice surface area.

As a matter of interest' date=' what makes a pedal triathlon specific? [/quote'] Nothing, except being able to click in and out of easily and being able to run in them (for a couple of metres). SPD's sound perfect to me, but I'm sure the triathletes could tell us more, plus road (read Look type) pedals give a nice wide base.

Look for sure. All the way. Have tried my feet at just about every pedal out there and nothing comes close to Look.
I also use Look Keo's, but I am starting to get annoyed with the wear and tear.  The plastic base of the pedal seems to wear excessively and mine only last a year or two before I have to replace the pedal.  That's where Shimano/alu pedals are better.

Speedplays take a while to get used to but my view is you cant beat them.

I'll second this. These are great pedals. Probably one of the only pedals on the market that can be setup for various angles. I stand to be corrected. Bought some recently and very happy.

If you stand to be corrected, doesn't it affect your position on the bike?

....I'll get my coat...
