tribarwarrior Posted September 23, 2009 Posted September 23, 2009 Howsit hubbers I need your help with choosing a new set of pedals, I am looking for a pedal that is specially made for triathlons, does any company manufacture tri specific pedals?? If not what would you suggest? I have always been a fan of LOOK but I feel like a change, thinking of going for the Dura-Ace pedals?? they not tri specific but they light with a nice surface area. Shot!!

[/quote'] Nothing, except being able to click in and out of easily and being able to run in them (for a couple of metres). SPD's sound perfect to me, but I'm sure the triathletes could tell us more, plus road (read Look type) pedals give a nice wide base.

I also use Look Keo's, but I am starting to get annoyed with the wear and tear. The plastic base of the pedal seems to wear excessively and mine only last a year or two before I have to replace the pedal. That's where Shimano/alu pedals are better.

Probably one of the only pedals on the market that can be setup for various angles. I stand to be corrected. Bought some recently and very happy. "You cant beat them"
