skelmpie Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Since the riders that was selected to compete at the worldchampionship for the national team had to cover most of their costs,(except for kit - that was sponsored - sort of) to participate in this year's world champs. And According to the incentive system of csa it mean't that they only spend a measly R10 000 on 5 riders(2000 rand per head) at this year's worldchamps. Do you think this incentive system is fair and appropiate?Is the real question not maybe, "do you think csa really support our riders?"
splat Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 This isn't the first time that any SA athlete has had to pay thier own way to compete abroad. I have heard of cases where SA colours weren't awarded because the athlete couldn't make the trip. To answer your question. I think thier incentive scheme was kinda silly.
