Which is the better of the two bikes ??

Reign is a much better bike but not really suited to XC and general riding. It's an All Mountain.

 

 

 

The 405 is a much cheaper entry level and probably better suited to the riding you'll do...but it's an entry level cheap bike.

Rather look at a Trance instead of the Reign, same manufacturer but more suited to the type of riding you expect to do
