BogusOne Posted October 13, 2009 Posted October 13, 2009 Hand tight. If ur using an external BB it shouldnt go anywhere if its just hand tightened. Thats my perception in any case. Never had a problem running them that way thus far.

You need to drill a drain hole in the bb shell. With the bike on its wheels, crawl under the bike and mark the lowest point on the bb shell with a koki pen. Now turn the bikeupside down, put it on its saddle and handlebars. Centre punch the pen mark and drill a 6mm hole in the shell. Water will now drain out and do no harm. All BB shells should have drain holes.
