Seen too many over eager parents put the kids into a rigorous training regime and by the time they should start being competitive they have lost the enjoyment of cycling.

Seen too many over eager parents put the kids into a rigorous training regime and by the time they should start being competitive they have lost the enjoyment of cycling. for sure. i don't race, but will happily support the boys when they do. a couple of years ago, we took them to the bmx races. i was disgusted at how some of the parents screamed and swore at their kids when they didn't perform. we didn;t go back.
