How to..?

How can i put a TT bar setup (base bar, shifters etc) on this type of stem/headset? Can i change this type of stem of put a new fork on?

 

 

 

 

 

 

Any ideas?

You need to replace the fork with a 1" nonthreaded fork and headset.

then you can use a standard stem.

You can get a A-headset addaptor that fits in the base of the fork, like the old stemms to extend it and fit a new style stem, can also slide a spacer on to make it oversize. Saw a BBB one for R130 at a lbs a wile back.

Or you could get a standard size basebar to fit in the old stem.

BBB make two: BHP-20 for 1" steerers and BHP-21 for 1-1/8".
