You can work it out mathematically by using the equation circumference=pi(3.14159265358979323846) multiplied by wheel diameter, or circumference = 2 x pi x radius. For example if the diameter is 50 cm then the eqation will be 3.14 x 50 = 157 cm, or by using radius (from axle to end of wheel) would be 2 ? 3.14 ? 25 = 157cm. You would then have to put in the value of 157 into the Cateye. Hope this helps.

Goeie ou Pi

 

Laaitie kom by die huis en sy pa vra wat het julle geleer. Seun se on het geleer van  - "Pi are square" Pa se "Snert man!!!!! almal weet pie are round.... wat leer hulle julle!!!!!!"

Thanx Homer ek het dit gemeet en dit was 1420. Ons sal dit vandag uit probeer. Dankie vir almal se raad en ook vir die wat probeer snaaks wees het ek hoop julle het iets geleer!!!!!!
