Front tire for a dry Tokai?

Howdy, looking to swop my front tire (Bont. revolt superX) for something with a bit more on it.

 

Any suggestions - not too heavy please?

Awesome tyres, not much tread but huge volume and sticky as. Fast rolling too, and not too heavy - about 650g each iirc.

Cool, I was actually looking for the 2.1 Exi Wolf's - currently have the 1.95 on the rear.

I second the exi-wolfs. (got one on the front of my rigid 69er)

 

Put a 2.3 on the front and the 2.1 on the back.

 

Either those or the Geax Saguarro (got them on my AM bike)

I think I prefer the saguarro (just cause I've had them so long) but similar tyre to the exi-wolf.

Ok, the tires are for a XC orientated hardtail.

 

What sizes do the highrollers and nevegals come in? I recall seeing the nevegal in 1.9  and 2.1?

 

Anybody know who stocks the WTBs in 2.1 - 2.3 might be a bit too wide (running ZTRs and will do stans conversion)?

For the price, try the 2.3 up front - if you don't like it sell it again. I run 2.3s front and back on Mavic 317s and haven't had any issues. (with tubes though)
