Does this tyre fit this rim ?

I have a 633-23 vredestein tyre and tube on a 700c rim. Tried changing tubes last night and it was an absolute mission to get the tyre off and back on again. Is this a mismatch ?

some tyres are rims are just very difficult to get on and off. I used to struggle with Gatorskins and DRC rims. Tyres works fine on other rims and rims works fine with other tyres but together it was a nightmare.

Thanks rock, Typo error on my part. Its a 622-23 tyre and according to the article it does match a 700c rim. Bugger, it took me 20 minutes to change a tube. Dont want that in the Argus !!!

My first road bike was like this.

The rims must have been bigger than normal because I battled my @rse off to get the tyres on and off.

 

Have to tried using fold flat tyres?

I find those easier to get over the rim.

Maybe experiment with your friends old fold flats before you go and buy some.
