Got mine for R700 , still in the box , yeah it is silly cos now I have to ride with my cateye to record my actual ride time on the bike and it servers as my odo etc etc  , and my blackburn for the HR and the total ride time ... will see if I can figure out your 1st question , if only it could record both then I didn't need the cateye but now I need both Smile

Well you could set the unit to record total time and then use the LAP function to record ride time.

Tubeless, I've got the Delphi 6 and it is an auto start/stop (I'm still trying to work out how to change it to manual)

The way you explained above is the way I'm riding at the moment, ie. let the computer run on auto recording the actual riding time and using the lap function to get the total riding time including stops.

I hope this helps, will let you know if I come right with the change (if it can)

Well mine is manual......seems like it.

Does yours auto start at zero?

Why dont you just leave it on auto and zero it with the centre button when needed?

Damn the manual is useless in this regard.

I have used a 5 for a few years now, only on auto. I had it on manual for a bit, but I have a small brain, so I kept forgetting to either start or stop it... Now only auto.

The wired cadence does not help your autostart.

RTFM or RTFBYC and you will see that the setup for auto has a limitation in that if it stays on permanently (or even is standby like a wired unit) your battery life will be pathetic.

What is the most you will lose with autostart taking 2 -5 seconds? I always reset my Delphi from yesterday's ride anyway - I want to see today's stats. The middle button is called the Start/Stop button. Use it.

TNT' date='

How long does it take before it starts? Couple of seconds, it says how many in the manual.

Does it start at zero? If you reset it after the last ride...

Thanks a lot.
