MTB Kid Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 I am biased ZTR Podium MMX at 1' date='21kg with tubeless tape and valveor ZTR Alpine ( new ) at 1,38kg with tubeless tape and valve[/quote'] What hubs and spokes and nipples are used for those builds? Are these new rims or just renamed for 2010? How do they relate to the current ones? ie Olympic or 355 etc. Podium MMX ---- AC hubs, DT Spokes, built in USA.ZTR Alpine ---- our spec for SA is ZTR Hubs, DT 2.0/1.5 , Alloy Nipples. Alpine and Crest are new models ---- they are additions to the range and feature next generation BST technology --- all details are on the NO TUBES site and the weight weenie forums http://www.notubes.com/product_info.php/cPath/685/products_id/491
Iwan Kemp Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Crank Brothers Cobalt or Iodinehttp://www.bicicletta.co.za/Direct%20sales%20-%20Wheels.htm Why Iodine for XC? Don't you think the CB wheels are a bit on the porky side for what you are getting? And its not like they've blown the critics over. I'm with MTB Kid on this one. A big fan of ZTR gear - never once let me down. Don't know the wheels he's talking about though. Super light though. What's the RRP on them?
