Justin Posted December 9, 2009 Share Hi guys First off I want to say I am a sucker for new products for my beloved mtb. However, I think I am missing something. I see upgradable parts as derailleurs, cranks, brakes, shifters etc. But, there are loads of seat posts, bars and stems on sale. It seems as if a lot of people are pimping these items. Does another seat post make a big difference? Bar I understand I suppose, even perhaps the correct length stem. But a seat post? Maybe I'm too used to my crappy seat post and haven't experienced the joys of a pimped seat post... Am I missing something? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

splat Posted December 9, 2009 Share Most people upgrade to lighter components and/or for better fit. Seatposts generally have a set back - I upgraded to a Thomson because I wanted an inline post.
