I wish I could be there when they arrive - I think it will be madness. Well done! If anyone goes post some pics. I'm sure he will collect many supporters for the last bit!

I would also love to be there. I've followed them online through the highs and lows of their journey. It hasn't been an easy one for them.

Well done !!! Smile

Thanks, I didn't do anything to earn it though. I just supported a worthy cause.

Going to mission through to the Waterfront when they arrive. Couple of the guys I ride with will be riding the last couple km's with Geoff. I'd love to join them on the ride, but still nursing a knee injury.

Saw him resting outside Mossel Bay on 20 Feb and still wanted to chat to them when I came back from my ride, but by the time I got back, they were already on their way.

Then I drove past them the next day when I went  to CT and couldn't stop because of the traffic.

What a shame - would love to have met such an extraordinary person, as well as the support person.  This really takes a lot of guts and I applaud you.

Hope you arrived safely in good old CT today.

Went through to the waterfront to watch Geoff finish his epic journey. He looked quite tired but very relieved. I feel somewhat privileged to have met such an extraordinary person, who was very humble in his achievement. I did not manage to get any of my own photos as I somehow was given Howard's camera (his backup) and just started taking a bunch of photos. I will need to ask Howard if I can get a few to post here.

There were a few people that came through to meet him, and of course the usual tourist crowds at the waterfront. Geoff managed to create quite a buzz with a few people wanting to try his unicycle.

Well done to Geoff, and I take my hat off to him !!!

Chatted to his fiance for a bit, and they will be on their way back to Durban in the next couple of days taking a slow drive so that Geoff can relax and enjoy the scenery of his trip.

Thanks for the reportback, JohnnyReggae. So wish I was there!

I'm sure Howard will post a few of his pics on www.fredhatman.co.za once they've recovered. I'll post the link on here if I spot them.

Well done guys. An amazing achievement.
