Bat-ass Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 i was closely inspecting my new dura ace 7900 cassette vs. older ultegra 6600... visually the ramp and tooth profiles are exactly the same.. the ultegra cassette runs, and shifts on my new bike (new dura ace) exactly the same as the dura ace cassette?? i have the ultegra casstte on my training wheels.... so i suppose you are just paying for the 40 grams or so less?? Anybody have any inside info on if there is actually any change in the new cassette design?
