I got 3 pairs of oakleys with suscription lenses.

Yhe issues in getting lenses in is the curve of the frame and the measurement of your eye sight. the Higher, the thicker the lens, the more difficult to fit

Its not recommended the Dar'cs as the frame is only the top part, and not a round shape were the lens is more solid fitted.

I'm getting new lenses in a frame this afternoon, its a 40% tint and cost R1400 FOR THE LENSES ONLY (and fitted in the Oackly Minutes.

Aren't inserts miserable in the rain/mub on mtb???

I have looked at some prescription options, but still making up my mind.

Currently I have some prescription Square Wire Oakleys. Wind protection is crappy! Especially on cold mornings the tears run.... and i can see bogger all.

Seems like contacts are the way to go.

It all depends on budget I guess. My standard prescription glasses are R4K but I cannot afford R4K again for prescription sunglasses.

Dar'cs will have to do for me.

i have the kalyos that i bought at a local shop and my inserts were done by the usual place my optometrist sends my stuff to (specialised lab). not cheap and certainly more than "ordinary" prescriptions and inserts would be, but worth the cost.

i can't use contacts (busy trying to get back into the hard lenses thing, but will never be able to use in windy/dusty situation).
