I need advise!

I want to buy a new XT chain from Chain Reaction, was never aware that Shimano classified their chain differently, i.e. not XT, LX or XTR. So which one of the HG range do I go with, or can I go with the Dura Ace / XTR 9 speed one?

Buy  a KMC chain - in my experience a much more durable chain than the Shimano models! And to top it all they are cheaper than the Shimano models

Borriz we just brought in those packs of three XT chains. You can't get better value and quality for your money. The single chains locally are almost double.

Just get a HG 53. It is not a shiny silver one and will save you a few bob.

The X9 or if you insist to have a lighter chain the X9L. Anyone living at the coast will be best served by the Z99RB
