dirtrider Posted July 12, 2007 Share After a very rare blowout I had to put a tube into my much beloved Stans conversion . Back at home I immediatly set about converting back . But this time it was a real struggle . The thing would just not seal . After staring at the problem over a few cold one it came to me that maybe all the old Stans on the rim tape and tyre may cause it to not seat properly . Trying to get this stuff of with Kleengreen , water & soap , Castle lager or tip-ex did not work . So I grabbed the Turps bottle . It cleaned everything and after a water wash all looked as good as new . After fitting everything it was of to the compressor again , and as you may all have guessed another Stans conversion was performed .
